A Life of Service — In the Air and In the Chair

After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2002, Dr. Blake J. Perry applied to the Wisconsin Air National Guard, where he was accepted into a pilot training program. He became a combat-qualified F-16 wingman and served in air sovereignty alert and training missions across the U.S. His time as a single-seat fighter pilot shaped his professional discipline and leadership qualities, which he brings to his work in health-centered dentistry today.

Supporting Our Veterans — Every Day

To honor those who have served, Perry Family Dentistry offers a 10% discount on all dental treatments for U.S. veterans. Simply present a valid military ID at the time of your appointment.

Whether you’re coming in for preventive care or advanced restorative work, you’ll receive the same level of attention, respect, and quality care Dr. Perry is known for throughout Mount Vernon and the Skagit Valley.

Local Philanthropy Rooted in Gratitude

Dr. Perry is passionate about improving lives in the exam room and throughout the local community. His ongoing service includes:

  • Coaching youth flag football at the local YMCA
  • Sponsoring young athletes, including players on the PNW Rain basketball team
  • Supporting the Skagit Symphony through charitable donations
  • Contributing dental services to local charity auctions, including free dental implants for Skagit Valley Hospice and Mount Vernon Christian School
  • Providing free dental care to frontline nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Involvement with Young Life, a Christian mentorship organization that supports teens in Skagit County

Global Outreach, Local Impact

While Perry Family Dentistry is firmly rooted in Mount Vernon, Dr. Perry also lends his skills to underserved areas abroad. He has volunteered in Chinandega, Nicaragua, offering care through Circle of Empowerment, a nonprofit medical clinic. His work there supports those without access to regular dental care, often in communities near where the Perry family has a home.

From the Frontlines to the Front Office

Whether in uniform or scrubs, Dr. Perry leads with heart, precision, and an unwavering commitment to those around him.
