The team at Perry Family Dentistry in Mount Vernon, Washington, is thrilled to offer $1000 off Invisalign® Clear Aligners, so if you’ve been interested in a teeth straightening system but haven’t committed yet, now may be the time. These clear aligner systems have taken the country by storm, delivering unparalleled results and beautifully straight smiles for many years.

Dr. Blake J. Perry has over two decades of experience with general and cosmetic dentistry, and the results that he’s seen with Invisalign® and ClearCorrect® are quite remarkable. Not everyone is willing to wear traditional metal braces, so if you’re a candidate for clear aligners instead of “old school” metal braces, you’ll want to get started immediately. In a matter of months, you can have the perfectly straight smile you’ve always wanted.

More About Invisalign® Clear Aligners

During the consultation, we will determine if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign® by taking x-rays and performing a comprehensive examination using the most advanced dental technology. If we determine that Invisalign® can help you achieve your desired results, we will take impressions of your teeth and send those impressions to the Invisalign® lab.

The lab then constructs each set of aligners for your treatment. Our technology allows you to see how your teeth will gradually shift over time, and you can see your teeth-straightening journey before it begins. Invisalign® works much the same way as traditional braces; however, instead of using brackets, wires, and rubber bands (none of which are particularly pleasant!) to move teeth, a clear aligners system uses various materials. Each set of aligners is constructed to place light pressure on your teeth to gradually shift them into a straighter position.

Each set of aligners will be worn for the amount of time, and you will wear your aligners up to 22 hours each day. Your aligners will only be removed to eat, drink, and brush/floss your teeth. It’s important not to allow bacteria to build up on your clear aligners.

About every six weeks or so, you will visit the dentist to check your progress. Most patients take six to 24 months to complete their Invisalign® treatment, and after treatment is complete, you will wear a retainer for a set amount of time to keep your teeth from shifting. We will explain the entire process in more detail when you begin your Invisalign® transformation.

ClearCorrect® Clear Aligners

Another teeth-straightening treatment we offer is ClearCorrect® clear aligners. Instead of relying on metal brackets and wires to move teeth, ClearCorrect® braces use a series of clear aligners to move teeth into place, just like Invisalign. The aligners are made of a clear and comfortable plastic that resembles a full retainer. By caring for them and refraining from scratching their surface, aligners will remain clear and virtually invisible when worn.

The aligners are created using an impression of your teeth and gums. The lab will create a series of aligners that start with the current position of your teeth and slowly move them until they are perfectly straight. You will wear each set of aligners for four to six weeks. The aligners place pressure on specific teeth to gradually move the teeth for a more comfortable experience. By the end of your teeth-straightening journey, your teeth will be in their optimal position to show off a gorgeous smile with perfectly straight teeth.

With ClearCorrect®, we will give you all of your aligners at one time, so you don’t have to come to the office as often to check your progress, which is the main difference between Invisalign® and ClearCorrect®.

ClearCorrect® vs. Invisalign®

Dr. Perry and his team will explain the differences between the two at your appointment, but the differences are minimal. ClearCorrect® is less expensive than Invisalign®, which makes it a top choice for many patients.

ClearCorrect® aligners are thinner than Invisalign®, and many patients feel that ClearCorrect® are less visible.

Invisalign® uses computerized models of your teeth and 3-D printing technology to create clear aligners, resulting in a set of aligner trays manufactured to fit the patient’s teeth perfectly. The aligners are clear but made of thick material for securely holding your teeth.

ClearCorrect® also scans your mouth and uses a 3-D printer to create the models, a quick and straightforward technique replacing the older method of making molds of your teeth—impressions.

After a comprehensive evaluation, Dr. Perry can recommend which type of clear aligners would be best for you.
